The story of a photographer
9 years ago I was gifted my first DSLR camera and on a whim (anyone who knows me knows this is accurate with a lot of things in my life #ADHDlife) decided that I wanted to really take a chance and follow this passion of mine. I asked to be mentored by a family member who had already established herself and she graciously agreed. And so began the journey into this craft, setting aside the college degree I had and taking a chance in a completely different direction than I initially planned for.
Over the last 9 years I have spent countless hours and investments into learning as much as I possibly can to achieve the level of skill and art that I have always admired. Never really feeling like I could compare to the Photogs that I admire. And then one day, I was messing around with my littles wanting to take some sports photos in my living room with a green screen. And it was that moment that I realized that maybe I needed to change my focus. Break out into a genre that I feel confident in.
Capturing families and all of their in between, raw moments is something I will never tire of. And spending those sessions with fresh life always fills me with pure joy and awe. But my business is centered on all of the athletes that want to be captured in a dramatic way. I have 4 kids in sports, and I love everything about it. And now I get to create art for other athletes. I hope you choose me to create these memorable images for you or your team. I strive to continue to learn and become an expert at everything I do.
